Dean Kirby founded SRKo, LLC. in 2006 in his native Kansas City. He started out as a home-builder, developing subdivisions in Lee's Summit, MO. He built his first building in 1980 for Himself, and gradually made the transition from residential builder to commercial contractor. Mr. Kirby has grown the business at an impressive rate, expanding it into what is now one of the most distinguished and respected construction companies in Kansas City. Many of the company's projects have been office condo projects. This year marks his Golden Anniversary in the construction industry, distinguishing him among the most experienced in his field.

Stephen Rupp helped found SRKo, LLC. in 2006 with Dean Kirby his partner. He started in the home building business with a partnership with Mr. Kirby over 8 years ago. With the encouragement of Mr. Kirby he started his first commercial project of 20,000 sq. ft. almost 6 years ago. Out of a burning desire to grow and a passion for the commercial side of the business he took what he knew and combined his business with 30yrs of experience from DL Kirby Properties to form SRKo, LLC. The calling card of SRKo - Strength, Relibility, and Knowledge are the attributes of Mr. Rupp & Mr. Kirby and they found it fitting to encompass it with in their company name. He holds a bachelor of science in Business Administration from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO.
